What a way to end the World Cup 2022 in Doha, Qatar. This World Cup has definitely been the most unpredictable World Cup ever and has been one hell of an emotional roller coaster from the beginning of the World Cup to the end it's been a crazy ride but one thing I'd say is that my childhood self would be very proud to see Argentina finally lift that World Cup trophy after 36 years, the last time they won in 1986 since Diego Maradona led them to the title and all I can say is that now his soul can rest in peace..... Everyone had hopes for Ronaldo and Neymar, but it was heartbreaking to see them lose the quarter finals and to see them leave the field crying because it was also their last World Cup, which was another reason why it was so sad to see them lose and cry. I think those two matches were the biggest let downs of the entire World Cup, especially the match between Brazil and Croatia because they lost over penalties, that honestly in my opinion is the saddest way to lose any match , imagine all your hard work gone down the drain because of five shots. My heart goes to them because which team wouldn't want to hold that trophy? They'd want it even more because it's their final World Cup. After years of hard work and effort, every footballer's dream is to win the World Cup for their country. Well, only time will tell if they have four more years in them to come back and play. One thing I do know is that if Argentina had lost that finals match, it would have been devastating for people all over the world because seeing Neymar and Ronaldo lose was difficult enough, and if Messi would’ve have lost it would have shattered everyone. This World Cup final match was literally neck to neck, who would have thought after the first half that this would happen, I think this match has gone down to be one of the most nerve-racking and at the same time most entertaining matches in World Cup history, Hats-off to France and Mbappe for single-handedly scoring a hat trick in a World Cup final that's just crazy and he is only the second person to do this since 1966 at only 23 years. firstly, to win a World Cup at 19 and then to be in a World Cup final in just his second world cup is crazy and just how far he has arrived in his football career although, Argentina's win was well deserved they fought till the end together, they truly showed the definition of teamwork which was missing in France causing them to lose, Argentina’s penalties were amazing no one gets all four shots that too in a world cup final but the way they took their penalties really showed how much the entire team wanted this win, So this just goes to show that you need your team to win and that you cannot win alone in football, but the way Mbappe was playing, he seemed to have changed my mind on that fact.

But it was incredible to watch Argentina's journey in this year's World Cup, from losing their first match against Saudi Arabia to winning the World Cup. I must say that this year's World Cup has been full of surprises. Seeing Asian countries win against European countries has been both shocking and uplifting; it truly demonstrates how hard these countries work to improve their skills. Countries such as Saudi Arabia, Japan, and South Korea defeated some of the strongest football nations, and a few of them advanced to the group 16 stage. Japan defeated both Germany and Spain to win group E, while South Korea defeated Uruguay before defeating Portugal in a crucial match. To see such news shows that these countries are also rising and that football is not only dominated by European countries. In fact, Morocco made history by becoming the first African-Arab nation to reach the World Cup semi-finals and placing fourth overall, demonstrating tremendous growth in their performance and their best performance in the world cup so far. It just feels so good to see these teams emerging, challenging and winning against some of the best teams in the world. It just goes to show that their year's worth of hard work is finally paying off, and we should all support these countries finally coming up and proving themselves on the world's biggest stage making their country proud.......

One thing I want to discuss in particular is the post-World Cup enthusiasm of Argentine fans after they won the World Cup, and it also being Messi's last World Cup that he finally won after playing 5 world cups, felt very emotional for many fans around the world, but the fact that he won his last World Cup after so many years of hard work, effort, and dedication is what added to the enthusiasm of Argentine fans not only in Argentina but also in other parts of the world. One tweet read, "Buenos Aires in Kolkata," demonstrating how much Argentine fans adore their national team, and there is obviously a lot more love for Messi, as this is his final World Cup. However, this is only the love they have received in India, when it comes to Argentina, the fans went crazy there were approximately 4 million plus fans in Buenos Aires celebrating the team's win after 36 years, there are many drown footages that show the celebration of these fans and how mesmerizing it is to see the number of people that look up to their team, particularly Messi.

You can see the happiness and pure joy on people's faces as they dance and sing it's pure bliss. In fact, when Messi arrived at his home in his hometown of Rosario, Argentina fans greeted him by cheering and singing. There were a lot of people outside his house waiting for him to arrive. Many fans went outside his grandmothers house as well and were screaming his name I mean I'm not gonna lie it is a bit creepy how they know where his grandmother lives but the fans did go a little crazy after their win after 36 years so I guess it's acceptable..... All of this enthusiasm, cheering, liveliness, and celebration just shows how dedicated and passionate the fans are for Argentina's football team. It would be so inspiring for all of the players to see such a response by the fans. In fact, when Messi posted about their win on Instagram, his post broke the record of being the most liked post on Instagram with more than 70 million likes and running. Overall, I think the World Cup ended on a happy note; it was undoubtedly the best day for Argentine fans and the football team. Although Ronaldo and Neymar fans would be disappointed, I believe it was at least Messi who emerged victorious at the end of the day, as anyone who doesn't follow the sport knows these three names off the top of their tongues, so I'm glad that at least one of them was able to win. I’m not quite sure about how Ronaldo feels about his win but Neymar acknowledged his win by posting on Instagram and captioning it “Congrats brother” . It's great to see them support each other, I personally admire their friendship and the fact that they truly are like brothers, so it demonstrates good sportsmanship on Neymar's part, especially after such a sorrowful loss that made everyone cry.....

CONCLUSION

Well, until next time now... I can't wait to see who wins the World Cup in 2026, which will be hosted jointly by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Let's hope these three goats keep playing for the next four years.... who knows if they will? But I’m excited to see other countries and players come up and potentially even win….. What do you think of Argentina's win? Who in your opinion deserved to win? let me know in the comments section below.
